Fairland Farm where we treasure our little Nigerian Dwarf Goats. We are excited to tell you about our Nigerian Dwarf
goats. We breed mostly for show quality animals but also have some pet quality for those who want to focus more on milk production
or just as pets. We were formerly known as Heritage Acres Farm. We had decided on Heritage Acres because of the family
history on our farm but in 2008 discovered a picture that my Great-Grand
Parents had taken with the farm name, Fairland Farm, painted on the barn. We just couldn't resist going back to the
farm name that my Great Grandpa, Oliver Culp, had given it. The buildings at our farm were built in the 1870's. We
love the Godly heritage that we have here on our farm. It has been in
our family for 3 generations. My Great-Grand Parents bought the farm in 1928. My Grand Parents bought it from them in 1968
and we bought it from them in 2001. We love the area where we live. After moving to the farm I, Dawn, knew we needed
some livestock for our farm. (I grew up on a dairy farm) After doing much research I discovered the Nigerian Dwarf goat.
I contacted several breeders and bought my first two does from Deena Sansone at Kaapio Acres. That was the beginning
of a wonderful adventure with these wonderful little caprines.
